Known for its many spirits from Dr. Ballard the Original owner of
the Lighthouse who swore he would never leave the lighthouse
after being forced to sell it.
To the Keeper, Mr. Rasmussen who was very well known for
savoring his cigars. To this day it is said you can still smell his
cigar smoke.
Another spirit known to haunt this location is the another
lightkeeper by the name of Joseph Andreu. He fell to his death
while painting the tower in the original tower from 1824.
The most sought after spirits are those of the young girls who
drowned after falling from the cart used to carry material from the
lighthouse to the bay. They were the daughters of Hezekiah Pity,
who was hired to renovate the lighthouse. The girls are seen and
heard at the lighthouse and lightkeeper's house.

Our Investigation
This investigation was very difficult. There was so much wind
outside and it created alot of background noise. So EVPs
sessions were a bust. Too much background noise came through.
There was however a pretty neat experience. As we were
standing around before the investigation I kept looking to an area
in the back of the gift shop. I could not shake the feeling that
someone was there. I kept doing a double take. So I pulled out my
camera and started snapping pictures. When we looked at the
pics we noticed a pretty solid looking orb. In the next pic you see it
close up as if in motion toward us. Click the links to see the pics.
