There is a park in Cassadaga named Lake Colby Park. This park was named after the Founder of Cassadaga, George Colby.
There are trails in Colby Park which is used as a Memorial to the founding settlers of Cassadaga.
As part of one of our Meetup outtings, we decided to hold EVP Sessions as a workshop for the Meetup Members who hadn't had much experience in
conducting a Paranormal Investigation. This became a 2-Day outting to accommodate everyone who wanted to go but couldn't make the first one,
Dec. 12th and 19th.
Dec. 12th was not very active. Though we didn't capture any EVPs or photos proving a haunt, we did find the foundation of the original Colby home.
Actually, we found the foundation of where the home was. Below are the links to the pics of what we found.

At the second outting on Dec. 19th we had much more success. We held another EVP Session at the same location and to our surprise, we made
contact.
It started with the EMF Detector. We asked for answers in form of blinks to confirm what we were asking. We tried to trick the spirit by asking
conflicting questions to make sure it wasn't a fluke and the answers didn't falter at all. Accurate answers each time. Not only did it communicate via
EMF Detector, we also captured EVPs.
In this EVP, we were asking if its name was Arthur or Agatha because one of the members kept feeling an "A" name associated with the place. If you
listen closely, you will find that tells us its just him.
In this EVP, I was asking if he was lonely and I got a response.
In this EVP, we were just asking questions and we picked up some tapping noises. Thing is at the point the EMF Detector spiked and we all got chills.
I thought maybe because we were outside but what a coincidence that all three things happened at the same time.
Below you will find raw footage of the EVP Session itself. It isn't the clearest but you will notice the two EMF Detectors we are using. You will notice
that almost all the spikes in the detector were read by both detectors at almost the same time and for the same questions.
Look out for some more pics to be posted soon.
